Import and Setup

Can I import existing data into ProClinic?

Yes. Under Settings → Import, you can import data from another system. You can import customers, staff/practitioners, treatments, bookings, gift cards (including outstanding balances), products, and reviews.

How long does a data import take?

The import process itself typically takes two to five minutes. After that, your system will be ready to use with all your existing data in place.

Can ProClinic help me with the import?

Yes. If you prefer not to do the import yourself, the ProClinic team can handle it for you. Just contact support or your ProClinic account manager.

What should I do right after creating my account?

Recommended steps:

  1. Go to Settings → Import and import your existing data

  2. Connect your own domain under Settings → Domain

  3. Set up your treatments, services, and staff

  4. Download and sign the data processor agreement under Journal → Documents

Can I plan a gradual transition from my current system?

Yes. The recommended approach is to import your data into ProClinic, use a test period to get familiar with the system and verify your data, gradually close your calendar in the old system, and switch to the ProClinic calendar once you're ready. There's no need to operate both systems in parallel.

Does it cost anything to test ProClinic before we switch over?

No. You can set up and test ProClinic with your imported data free of charge during the trial period. The trial lasts 14 days and only begins once you start actively using the system—not while you're just testing and exploring.
