Services and treatments define what your clinic offers, pricing, duration, and how everything is displayed in booking and at checkout.
You can create new services from the Services section in your dashboard (/dashboard/services).
How to do it
Go to
Services.Click to create a new service.
Enter a name and select a category.
Choose whether to activate the service.
Save.
Categories
Categories are not under Settings. They are managed by editing a service.
Go to
Services(/dashboard/services).Create a new service, or edit an existing one.
Next to the
Categoryfield, clickManage categories.Click
Add Category, enter a name, and save.
You can also edit and delete existing categories in the same panel.
Important
Every service requires a category.
Treatments can be imported from the
Librarytab, or created inside a service after the service itself is created.Practitioners are assigned to a treatment from All Treatments, from the service’s Treatments tab, or from the staff member.
Alternative: Get Help via Chat
Simply type: Can you create a new service for me?
The chat will ask for the necessary information and request confirmation before saving.
Treatments
In ProClinic you can add treatments in two ways: import ready-made treatments from the library, or create a new treatment under an existing service.
Add treatments from the library
The library is its own tab under Services. You do not open an individual service to add treatments from the library.
Go to
Services(/dashboard/services).Open the
Librarytab (/dashboard/services/library).Select the treatments you want to add.
Click
Add treatments.
The treatments are imported into your clinic. You can then edit name, price, duration, and other settings like any other treatment.
You can type: How do I add a treatment from the library?
Assign a practitioner to a treatment
A treatment needs at least one practitioner to be bookable. You can assign practitioners in three ways.
From All Treatments
Go to
Services(/dashboard/services).Open the
All Treatmentstab (/dashboard/services/treatments).The table shows all treatments grouped by service, and which practitioners perform them.
If no practitioners are assigned, a warning is shown. Click the warning to add practitioners.
From a service
Edit the service and open the
Treatmentstab. The list shows who performs each treatment.
Click an existing practitioner, or the warning triangle, to choose who performs the treatment.
From a staff member
Go to
Staff.Edit the staff member.
Use the treatments dropdown to set which treatments they perform.
You can type: How do I assign a practitioner to a treatment?
Resources
Create and manage resources in the Resources tab under Services (/dashboard/services/resources). There you can also link treatments to the resource.
You can still link resources from the treatment: edit the treatment and open the Resources tab.
Go to
Servicesand open theResourcestab (/dashboard/services/resources). ClickNew Resource.Or: go to
Servicesand theAll Treatmentstab (/dashboard/services/treatments), edit the treatment, and open theResourcestab.
Create a new treatment under a service
Go to
Servicesin the dashboard (/dashboard/services).Find the service you want to add the treatment to.
Open the service and choose to add a new treatment.
Fill in the name, duration, and price.
Save.
Missing the right service?
Create the service first.
Then add the treatment within that service.
Alternative: Get Help via Chat
You can also type: Can you create a treatment for me?
The chat will guide you step-by-step and confirm the information before saving.
In addition to name, duration, and price, treatments can be set up with internal costs and medical record links.
Typical path:
Services→ choose service → treatment (/dashboard/services/.../treatments/...)
Internal Costs
You can add internal costs to treatments, such as consumables used during the service.
This provides better insight into your margins and clinic finances.
Consumables Per Treatment
Consumable products can be linked to a treatment to highlight which items are used in delivering the service.
Consent Forms for Treatments
Consent forms are created in the medical records module and then linked on each treatment.
To add or remove a consent form from a treatment: go to Services, edit the service and open the Treatments tab, or go to Services and the All Treatments tab (/dashboard/services/treatments). That table also shows which treatments have a consent form linked. Open the treatment and choose a form, or set Consent not needed to remove it. Do not delete the template in Journal to unlink it from a treatment.

How do I assign a practitioner to a treatment?
There are three ways: Go to Services and open the All Treatments tab (/dashboard/services/treatments) — click the warning if no practitioners are assigned. Or edit a service, open the Treatments tab, and click the practitioners or the warning triangle. Or go to Staff, edit a staff member, and choose treatments in the dropdown.
What’s the difference between a service and a treatment in ProClinic?
A service is the top-level category describing an area of treatments (e.g., “Fillers” or “HIFU”). Under a service, you define specific treatments, which specify details like duration, provider, and price (e.g., “Lip Filler 0.5 ml” or “HIFU Facial”).
What can I set per treatment?
For each treatment, you can set duration, price, buffer time, a detailed description, images, which staff can perform the treatment, linked consent forms, packages/punch cards, add-ons/upgrades, and either consumables or fixed costs.
Can I add an FAQ to a service?
Yes. On each service, you can create a Q&A section that’s shown to customers on the treatment page.
Can customers select add-ons when booking a treatment?
Yes. You can set up optional add-ons for treatments, allowing customers to select, for example, a tint along with a lash lift when booking. Add-ons can be re-used across different treatments.
Can I set a default buffer time for all treatments?
Yes. There is a global system setting for default buffer time, which is automatically applied to treatments where you haven’t specified a custom value.
Should I change a treatment price to give a discount?
No. Treatment prices are your standard baseline and should not be changed for discounts. Always use the campaign feature to set temporary prices or offer discounts.
Can I track consumable use and product spending per treatment?
Yes. You can link products from your product register to a treatment and specify the quantity used per treatment (e.g., number of milliliters of serum). The system automatically deducts consumption and alerts you when it’s time to reorder. Alternatively, you can add a fixed cost per treatment as a simpler solution.
Can I set up long-term treatment plans for a client?
Yes. You can create treatment plans for a client that extend over longer periods, including processes, treatments, and products in the plan.
