What is the resource system, and when should I use it?
Resources are equipment or rooms that cannot be used by more than one practitioner at the same time—for example a laser, HIFU machine, tanning bed, or a treatment room. When a treatment is linked to a resource, the system automatically prevents double bookings of that resource.
Where do I find resources, and how do I set up resource management?
Go to Services and open the Resources tab (/dashboard/services/resources). There you create, edit, and delete resources, and link them to treatments. Resources are not under Settings.
You can also link a resource from the treatment: Services → All Treatments (/dashboard/services/treatments) → edit treatment → Resources tab. Or Services → edit service → Treatments → edit treatment → Resources.
How do I add a new resource?
Go to Services and open the Resources tab (/dashboard/services/resources). Click New Resource, enter a name, tick whether it should be available for booking, optionally select treatments, and save. You do not choose a type such as “equipment” or “room”.
How do I link treatments to a resource?
Open the resource in the Resources tab and use the Treatments dropdown. A booking that uses one of the selected treatments takes one free resource.
How do I delete a resource?
You can delete a resource only when it is not linked to any treatment. Open the resource, unlink all treatments and save, then click Delete resource. If it is still in use, delete is disabled.
Can I have multiple of the same resource?
You cannot set a quantity on a single resource. Create separate resources with unique names, such as "HIFU Machine 1" and "HIFU Machine 2", and link the ones the treatment can use. The booking takes one that is free.
