Gift cards can be created, sold, and used as a payment method in ProClinic.

How it works

  • Create a gift card with a set value; optionally link it to a client.

  • Gift cards can be used in full or in part toward payment.

  • Any unused balance remains available on the gift card for future use.

Typical workflow

  1. Create a gift card (click the Generate button in the gift card module).

  2. Sell or register the gift card.

  3. Accept gift cards as payment during a booking or direct sale.

Important

  • Access to gift cards is role-based.

  • Always add a clear note if a gift card is used manually in a special situation.

Can I sell gift cards from the dashboard?

Yes. You can create and sell gift cards directly from the dashboard. You decide whether the code is sent digitally to the client or shown on-screen so you can write it onto a physical card.

Can clients purchase gift cards themselves from our website?

Yes. Clients can buy gift cards directly from your clinic's website and select a delivery time—for example, 8:00 AM on the recipient’s birthday. ProClinic will automatically send out the gift card by email or SMS at the chosen time.

Can gift card data be transferred when switching systems?

Yes. Gift card data can be imported into ProClinic as part of a data migration, provided the gift card data is available in report format from your previous system.
